Hot off The Woman in Black, it's nice to see star Daniel Radcliffe eager to continue his exploration of the genre. Today we've got word that the man who was Harry Potter has signed on to star in on hell of movie adaptation.
Variety is reporting that Radcliffe will take center stage in Horns, a satanic horror film directed by Alexandre Aja and sourced from Joe Hill's novel of the same name.
Radcliffe's role (taking over from Shia Lebeouf) will be that of a man suspected in the rape and murder of his girlfriend. One morning he awakens to find horns growing from his head and realizes their power drives people to confess their sins while succumbing to their impulses. He'll of course use this to his advantage as he hunts for the real murderer.
Shooting will begin this fall, and so you can expect to hear much more about this as it develops.
