The television series "Ringer" was a mess at times, but it was sleazy enough to keep us entertained. Sadly, it got canned by the CW, but now the producers of that show have another genre card to play up their sleeves. Read on for details.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Ringer" creators Nicole Snyder and Eric Charmelo have sold another thriller to NBC.
The network has given a blind script commitment to an untitled sexy Gothic thriller set in New Orleans that's described as being rich with tradition, superstition, and murder. Snyder and Charmelo will pen the drama and executive produce alongside TBD Productions' Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan for Universal Television. Traugott and Kaplan also co-executive produced the "Ringer" pilot.
Stay tuned for more as it comes.
